I have worked as a qualified supervisor since 2004 for a number of organisations, and now run my own supervision practice for individuals. Whether you are newly qualified or experienced supervision is a blank canvas, which helps to inspire ideas, raise questions, explore new possibilities, to look at situations from a different angle and enables your imagination and practice to flourish.
It is about feeling comfortable to bring all aspects of your practice and by using intuition, logic, metaphors, visualisations and drawing on many other creative methods it can help gain clarity, fluidity, understanding and depth to your work.
Creative supervision is a journey of exploration using varied techniques and materials which can spark the imagination and the senses.
"Creativity is inventing, experimenting, growing, taking risks, breaking rules, making mistakes and having fun". Mary Lou Cook.
It ensures individuals are working safely, ethically and to the highest professional standards whilst polices, practices and procedures are adhered to. It develops skills and abilities, encourages reflection, self-awareness, different ways of working with clients and also identifies training requirements.
I offer a free introductory meeting with all prospective clients which provides an opportunity to discuss future arrangements and decide on whether we wish to work together.
