I have worked as a qualified counsellor since 2004 and a qualified supervisor since 2008 and have worked for a number of organisations in a counselling and supervision capacity.
I have sixteen years of experience in the addictions field and worked within an alcohol organisation as an Outreach Worker, Criminal Justice Team Leader and Assistant Manager.
I have also worked within a prison as a Deputy Manager of a Therapeutic Community, which has enhanced my understanding of the impact addictions can have on an individual’s life and their concerned others.
As a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), I adhere to their Code of Ethics.
My practice is supervised in accordance with BACP guidelines.
I am also a member of the Association for Independent Practitioners (AIP).
